We stayed at Niwasa House for just one night, and everything was perfect. The breakfast offered a solid variety, including a fried egg, omelette, and fresh bananas. The staff was very friendly, as was the owner.

I had a blast hiking, fishing, and cycling. Niwasa House had it all - parking, terrace, restaurant. And there's even a playground for the kids! Plus, they offered room service and helped me with all my tourist needs. Surprisingly convenient!
Who needs a fancy airport nearby when you can enjoy the scenic views and shared lounge? Haha, just kidding.

Located near a tea plantation, offering great views. Hosts provided tea and coffee throughout our stay. The room was spacious with two large double beds. Hosts were accommodating, waking up at 1am to give us a lift to Adams Peak and waiting for us all day. They also made us a traditional Sri Lankan dinner and dropped us off at the train station.

The rooms at Niwasa House are amazing! They have balconies with a stunning mountain view, making it the perfect spot to relax and soak in the beauty. I love how every room has a cozy seating area, creating a comfortable and homely atmosphere. The private entrance in the twin/double room is a nice touch, giving me a sense of privacy and independence. The inclusion of a kitchen in the double room is a great convenience for guests who prefer to cook their own meals. And the presence of a desk in every room is a thoughtful addition for those who need to work during their stay.
Personally, I found the kitchen in the double room unnecessary, as I preferred to try the local cuisine instead.

I had an amazing stay at this guest house! the whole family, who runs Niwasa House, were incredibly kind and helpful. As soon as I arrived, they welcomed me with delicious tea freshly picked from the tea plantation right outside the house. the location of the guest house is perfect, with beautiful views of the tea plantation from the windows. It's also conveniently situated just a short walk away from the train station, town centre, and bus station. the rooms were exceptionally clean, comfortable, and modern. the staff and owner went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, including organizing a tour of the area to see waterfalls, a church, and another tea plantation. the breakfast provided was great, and they even treated me to a free dinner with beautifully cooked Sri Lankan food. Cons: Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like 😊.

Who needs a tour desk when you can wander aimlessly and miss out on activities?
